Project General Situation
Line Airport Lot10B belongs to Beijing Railway Line Airport
Lateral T2(right line), is an underground lot. The design
jumping-off point mileage of the tunnel is Right T2K1+295,the
end-point is Right T2K5+397, the span is 4102m,shield tunneling
technology is used.
This tunnel earth up 5.7m～11.5m, The Maximum Longitudinal Slope
is 4.016‰, the minimum turning radius is 550m; the main stratums
are silt clay and silty fine sand stratum; the work area which
has a higher water table is water table aquifer.
The inner diameter of the shield tunnel is 5400mm, and the outside
diameter is 6000mm, prefabricated prestressed concrete segment is
used, which is 30cm thick, 1200mm width. The whole line uses
universal segment lining assembling ,the segments seam in stagger.
Project Schedule
Construction Situation：
As the work area has handed over on July 19 2006, the project was
shaping up.
The TBM mainframe began to assembling from July 28 2006, there
was an Assemble Rite on August 9th 2006, the cutterhead was carried
into the beginning-well that day.
The excavation began on August 26 2006.
The TBM arrived at the received-well on April 25 2007, the tunnel excavation
was finished. The excavation length is 4092m (3407 rings segments),
which last 243 days, the monthly record is 518.4m. The project was finished
6 months ahead of the owner’s schedule,
From September 20 2006 to October 20 2006, 606 rings ( 727.2m) had
finished, which renewed the monthly record; September 24 2006, the new
daily record was brought out ,which is 35 rings a day.

The first step of excavation was finished on Sep 14 2006，the excavation began again on Sep 20 2006

The excavation has finished about 1530m, 1266rings, the TBM reached and began to go through the No. 1 wind tunnel, November 12 2006.

The TBM has already went through the No. 1 wind tunnel, began to excavate the second tunnel on November 19,2006

2800m(2335rings) has already finished on Feb 2nd 2007, the TBM reached and began to go through the No.2 wind tunnel

The TBM has already went through the No.2 wind tunnel on Feb 20 2007, and began the excavation of the last tunnel

The TBM reached the receive-well, the whole tunnel was run-through on April 25 2007, the excavation length is 4092m (3407rings)

Night, May 1st 2007, a 385t crane and a 220t crane assembled, the day after the TBM began to disassemble, two days later the TBM disassembly finished
